My favorite part community work workshop is the opportunity to learn from people around outside of any kind of formal classes. Last week I posted that I’d be experimenting with the BeagleBone embedded computer and anyone interested was welcome to explore with me. We had a good time learning about the BeagleBone, linux, networking, programming etc. and when I ran into a technical hurdle to overcome, there was someone there who knew how to fix it right away and we got on with programming the board. I look forward to many more opportunities to learn with my fellow gardeners in the years to come.
