This meetup is for people interested in robotics: building, programming them using ROS. Prerequisites: none. Many members have already built a ROS robot, the PRSG2, but new members can do so as well, or learn to simulate our robot (or others).
Agenda: discussion of what we want to do
• Robot dance: I will demo and introduce my quadrille.py ROS node as a place to start. Could this be an art entry at Robogames?
• Simulation: I will demo simulating our robot in gazebo (a little) and STDR. Discuss building up this capability. This is relevant and applicable to all other robot endeavors.
• Competition: discuss conducting our own Robot Garden robogames with our PRSG2. Also, could or PRSG2 compete in the table top competition at Robogames?
