This meetup is for people interested in robotics: building and programming them using ROS. Prerequisites: none. Many members have already built a ROS robot, the PRSG2 pictured above, but new members can do so as well, or learn to simulate our robot (or others).
Agenda: also bring items you’d like to discuss
• Robot dance: If you have tried out the quadrille.py ROS node, bring your bot and we can try to “do a little dance” together. I will give any updates on Robogames.
• Simulation: I will discuss simulating multiple robots in STDR. Apropos to dancing.
• Demos: We’ll hear about and perhaps see a working demo of tinyLiDAR: the Maker Friendly Laser Sensor.
