RobotGarden.js: NodeSchool and Nodebots

Want to learn JavaScript?  Want to learn more JavaScript, specifically to program robots?  This is a special interest / study group to develop core skills working with Node.js, Cylon.js, and Johnny-Five.

RobotGarden.js

This series of workshops is intended for any experience level to learn and improve with JavaScript, Node.js and related libraries.  JavaScript is useful as a general purpose language but also for a wide range of applications including web development, computer graphics, games, and robotics.  We’ll lead up to covering topics related to React, Angular, WebGL, NodeBots, etc.

You can join the group at any time and find out how to catch up even if you have no programming experience.  We’re going to meet once a month or so unless other volunteers come along to help run additional sessions.

We are running this in a flipped classroom model, the courseware is based on http://nodeschool.io and self-paced with meetups to help work through any issues and share experiences, ask/answer questions.
