Tech Talk: Slack Bots

Robot Garden now has a slack team to use.

Slack is a messaging application for teams and communities to share information and discuss.  There are channels for various topics similar to email mailing lists, IRC and discussion forums.  It works across many platforms and devices with lots of flexibility for notifications.

If you haven’t used Slack before, bring your device and we can quickly get you logged into the community.  We’ll have a quick overview of how it works, how we can use it to build community among members at Robot Garden, and how to use the powerful integrations to write chat bots or connect with IoT devices.

The suggested donation for this event is $3 per participant but free for Robot Garden members.  Parents must accompany children and participate if the child is part of the course.

IMAGES AND RECORDING: Robot Garden has cameras in place for safety and security. By entering the facility or participating in activities at Robot Garden, the participant agrees to have their image and or voice recorded by Robot Garden, it’s staff, volunteers or other participants and that those images may be posted online.
